"IQ@ is an exciting and current performance that would work
in any public space. I loved the feeling of discomfort I felt at
being observed being transformed into a sense of safety and
community with the other participants."

"IQ2 is a fanatastic, fun way to engage the public in a
performance. Where people who would not necessarily get a chance to be a
performer engage in a simple way. As a performer myself it was equally
satisfying to be involved in IQ2 and as an audience member. I found the
exercise of the questions was thoroughly interesting and challenging at the
same time. I am constantly impressed with Stephen and Nishas simple but very
effective ways of creating a sense of community between complete strangers."

"I loved the way it created an unexpectedly safe space within
which to experience a group of strangers and gently probe some social
boundaries in a intimate yet public setting."

"I loved how the headphones created a unique experience for
each audience member. No one knew if the others were listening to the same
thing or where each others imaginations were wondering. Once the instructions
and provocations started our unique experiences became one shared one."

"IQ2 by Future Hotel was an exciting and surprisingly
intimate experience for me. It was fascinating participate in such a humorous
but revealing social and public experience. Kinda like a fun census." (Joshua
Rutter)
"IQ2 for me when I experienced it was a satisfyingly relevant
and current work of art. It cleverly, and with a high-degree of accessibility,
drew my attention to ideas about the cult of faux-individualism in a boxed,
numbered and tracked society. Walking away, thoughts about collectivism and
inclusion came to mind as well as the importance of a genuine individualism. Top-notch art that deserves as big an audience as possible!"

"Participating in IQ2 was like an unknown adventure as I
followed the instructions I could see the scene unfold as passer bys watched
our strange actions. IQ2 raised exciting and interesting questions about who we
are or how we portray ourself to the outside world and the fun thing was that
on this day we got to choose."

"I did your headphone thing three times and enjoyed it
immensely all three times. At the Audio Foundation I found the revealing nature
of the questions mindblowing, particularly when it came to financial position
etc. Amazing issues of honesty, self-consciousness etc.
As a participant on Aotea square i loved the enhanced
perception of the physical space and the lovely dance I had with a complete
stranger.
As an audience member i enjoyed observing people's diverse
reactions as well as the extensive discussion I had with the young Korean
visitor trying to explain what was going on."

"the collective turning to face the town hall inside a
wedding scene - this touched my heart: so surreal and distant from others
inside technology, but simultaneously a feeling of intimate closeness as we
were all strange and estranged together. a feeling of humanity"
